A brand-new, deadstock pair of the 2019 adidas SL80 (A) SPZL in the striking "Collegiate Gold" colorway.

First arriving in Drop 1 of the Spring/Summer 2019 adidas Spezial capsule, this model brings a meticulously retrograded design language to a classic late-70s running archetype.

Model History & Details:

The Unreleased Tribute: While the standard archival SL80 is famous for its classic navy/gold performance running look, this vibrant orange-and-gold color configuration was directly inspired by an incredibly rare, unreleased prototype sample version discovered deep within the adidas archives.
Period-Correct Architecture: The trainer stays faithfully true to late-70s construction cues, balancing an airy nylon mesh base with structural pigskin suede panels and characteristic semi-circular eyelet overlays.
Spezial Comfort Upgrades: Outfitted with an EVA foam wedge midsole for period-correct underfoot cushioning, a rubber protective toe-cap guard, and custom Spezial branding on the tongue patch and footbed.

The supplied photos show the pair on its original blue Adidas box. Internal tissue wrapping, factory laces and any other box contents have not been verified.
