A pristine, deadstock pair of the limited-edition 2016 adidas Ashington, released as part of the official collaboration between adidas Originals and Manchester United.

Designed as a masterclass in clean, low-profile sportswear, the silhouette features a smooth, semi-gloss black leather upper, crisp white serrated three-stripes, and a classic natural gum rubber sole. This premium archive release includes its specialized, custom-branded drawer box and collector cards.

The silver and triangular collector packets remain sealed and have not been opened to verify their contents.

Model History & Backstory:

Honoring a Legend: Released in October 2016, this special edition marks exactly 60 years since club icon Sir Bobby Charlton made his debut for Manchester United in 1956.
The Birthplace Moniker: The shoe takes its name from Ashington, the small Northumberland mining town where Sir Bobby was born in 1937.
Vintage Boot Inspiration: The choice of glossy black leather and sleek proportions is directly modeled after the look and material makeup of the traditional leather football boots Sir Bobby wore throughout his career.

Collector Packaging & Contents:

The Silver Foil Packet: This contains a limited-edition 4-card collector set. The cards feature historical imagery and text detailing the career milestones of Sir Bobby Charlton and the backstory of the collaboration between adidas and Manchester United.
The Triangular Package: This is a specially rolled, commemorative Sir Bobby Charlton poster. The triangular shape is cardboard structural packaging designed by adidas to keep the poster from getting crushed or creased inside the shoebox shoe-drawer system.
